Tollywood king Nagarjuna recently came up with the much-awaited sequel of his superhit film 'Soggade Chinni Nayana'. Titled Bangarraju, Naga Chaitanya also played the lead role in the film.

The movie which opened with the decent response at the box office from the first day itself did decent numbers at the box office with steady shares. Directed by Kalyan Krishna Kurasala, the film has made 76 crores gross worldwide collections marking the career-best figure for Nagarjuna.

The movie also became the highest grosser for Nagarjuna in both Andhra and Ceeded regions. The movie crossed 12 crores alone in Ceeded and it did extremely well in the Nizam area as well. Recently, the makers organized a grand success event of the film in Rajahmundry. Talking at that event, Nagarjuna said that the audience didn't give up on the film and made it as a blockbuster.

"Everyone asked who will think about watching movies in a pandemic situation like this. But our Telugu movie lovers who wanted films for Sankranti made my movie a blockbuster. There is no Sankranti without movies. I don't want to talk about collections as collections are nothing but your love," said Nagarjuna, earlier in a statement.
