Karate Kalyani files complaint on Devi Sri Prasad

Actress Karate Kalyani filed a complaint against music director Devi Sri Prasad for allegedly insulting the sentiments of Hinduism. If we get into the story, Devi Sri Prasad released an album single titled, "O Pari" recently. Kalyani stated that there are lyrical chants of "Hare Rama Hare Krishna" in this song.

She stated that despite being a Hindu, DSP insulted his religion by using devotional chants in a song which features women in bikinis. She said that "Hare Rama Hare Krishna" is chanted by Hindus while praying to Lord Rama or Lord Krishna. "I am shocked to see DSP using such chants in a song like this," she stated.

She said that even after being a star music composer, DSP didn't respect Hindusim and its values. She demanded an apology from him. Meanwhile, Kalyani also added that she would never act in any projects that will insult or hurt Hinduism or its sentiments.
