Super Star Krishna Is No More

Tollywood senior actor Krishna passed away on Tuesday morning. He was admitted in continental hospital in Hyderabad on November 14th. Popularly known as the Superstar of Tollywood, he was the father of Mahesh Babu.
 

He began his career in Telugu films in 1962 and made his debut with a small role in Madhusudhana Rao’s political thriller Padandi Munduku. Later, he worked in minor roles in many films including Tene Manasulu. Finally, in 1966, he made his solo debut with Adurthi Subba Rao's Kanne Manasulu.
 

'Alluri Seethaarama Raju' and "Mosagallaku Mosagadu" are his notable films. Hailing from Mogaltur of Burepallam Village in Andhra Pradesh, he strived a lot for Tollywood development. He is the one who acted in the first Telugu Cinemascope as well as first eastman color film. He also bought 70mm film and the first Tollywood DTS film for Telugu audience.
 

He acted in more than 350 films and directed over 18 films in his entire film career. He even directed a Hindi film called Ishq Hai Tumse starring Dino Morea and Bipasha Basu.
 

In 2009, he was also honored by the government of India with the Padma Bhushan.  The star's journey has been indeed beautiful and all the celebrities are paying tribute to him.
