Nithiin's 'Robinhood' Faces Casting Shake-Up: Rashi Khanna Eyed as Replacement

The dynamic duo of young actor Nithiin and director Venky Kudumula, known for their successful collaboration in the past, are gearing up for their second venture together with "Robinhood," an action-packed film. However, the project has hit a bump in the road with leading lady Sree Leela's unexpected exit, leaving the production team scrambling to find a replacement.

Initially, Rashmika Mandanna was slated to play the female lead in the film, but she parted ways with the project last year. Sree Leela was subsequently roped in as her replacement, only to also step away from the film recently, citing undisclosed reasons.

In light of these developments, the production team is now in negotiations with Rashi Khanna to fill the vacant role. Talks are underway, and an official announcement regarding the casting is expected to be made before the commencement of the next schedule.

"Robinhood" is not just any run-of-the-mill project; it's a stylish action-packed extravaganza backed by Mythri Movie Makers and boasting a significant budget. With the next schedule set to kick off next month, the urgency to finalize the cast is palpable.

Meanwhile, Nithiin is juggling multiple projects, including "Thammudu," directed by Sriram Venu. Produced by Dil Raju, "Thammudu" promises to be an emotional action drama. With both "Thammudu" and "Robinhood" in the pipeline, Nithiin is looking forward to a busy year ahead, aiming to treat audiences to not just one but two captivating cinematic experiences.
