After much struggle, filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma finally succeeded in getting his movie Amma Rajyam lo Kadapa Reddlu release in the theatres. The film hit the screens today and it is a satire on the consequences that took place Andhra Pradesh state after the recent general elections. Check out our review.

Story:
The film begins after the results of elections in Andhra Pradesh state. The consequences that took place after the general elections are being shown in the movie, in a satirical manner. How a young politician became the chief minister by winning over an experienced politician and how the experienced politician started feeling the decline? is the story of the movie.

Performances:
Ajmal Ameer delivered his career-best performance in the movie. Dhananjay Prabhune also suited well for the character. Dheeraj KV also delivered decent performance in the film. Brahmanandam's performance is a delight to watch. Ali also acted really well in the film. Chari also blended well with the character. Dheeraj KV delivered an honest performance. Mahesh Kathi and Swapna also got meaty roles in the film and they have acted well. Dhanraj, Prithviraj and Jaffar Babu also justified the roles. The rest of the actors also made their presence felt.

Technical Aspects:
Ram Gopal Varma has a unique style of filmmaking and this movie also doesn't have any major difference in terms of storytelling when compared to his previous movies. Although Siddarth's name is credited for the direction, we are sure whose mind is behind the film's making.

The entire movie revolves around political backdrop and we can say that Ram Gopal Varma did his best to make the film as interesting as possible. However, his slow-paced narration will irk some of the audience and will test the patience. Production values by Ajay Mysore under Ajay Mysore Productions is too good. Also, music by Ravi Shankar is too good. Especially his background music is fresh and impressive. Cinematographer Jagadeesh Cheekati has produced decent visuals for the film. Editing by Anwar Ali is just average.

Review:
We already know that the entire movie revolves around the politics and the director has failed to engage the audience with his narration which is very slow-paced. The movie doesn't have a proper solid story and the director only focuses more on elevating the hero. The unnecessary elevation is extremely dull. Also, the screenplay is very poor as most of the scenes don't have any connection.

Despite having decent performances, there is a lack of proper story and screenplay and the narration of RGV will test the patience of the audience. Some scenes are also funny without any logic. Overall, 'Amma Rajyamlo Kadapa Biddalu' is not even a one time watch.

Plus:
Performances
Some Satirical Drama

Minus Points:
Lack of Story
Narration Pace
Illogical Scenes

Final Verdict: 'Amma Rajyam lo Kadapa Biddalu' did absolutely nothing!
