Pawan & Politics
Posted On 31 Dec 2013 - 02:21 AM

Pawan Kalyan, the silent, simple and humble person is the one who is enjoying cult following in TFI. Not only Kalyan’s on-screen signatures and dialogues, but his off-screen silence will also attract his fans. But his silence over politics this year has severely depressed his fans.

The buzz about Powerstar joining politics has started with the series of tweets by sensational film-maker Ram Gopal Varma. The possibility of Pawan and Naga Babu aligning with Telugu Desam Party was talk of the town. On the other hand, few Pawan fans who were aspiring to get some political postings in the political outfit of the actor are said to be terribly upset over the inaction displayed by him in kick-starting the proceedings.

Media was abuzz with gossips about Pawan Kalyan met Chandra Babu Naidu and spoke about Politics. A popular TV news Channel have telecasted a special program on “Pawan Kalyan may support TDP in the upcoming 2014 elections”.  It didn’t end there and more spice was added with rumors like – “Chiranjeevi’s elder brother Nagendra Babu may join hands with TDP and contest from kakinada in the coming elections”. It is also heard that Pawan Kalyan met Balayya for discussions.  Few fans have showcased a flexi featuring Powerstar in TDP attire.

Finally on 23rd October, Mega brother Naga Babu has thrashed all those false reports. Putting an end to these rumors, the actor & producer said, “I and Kalyan are not going to join in any of the party and we haven’t met anyone. The news about getting into active politics is totally baseless and faux pas. As we both are busy with our respective films, I request all the fans and others to stay calm and not to believe in any such gaffes.”
