All of you are well aware that music director M M Keeravani is the authorized music maker for the films helmed by the tough taskmaster S S Rajamouli. At the same time, you are also aware that Keeravani owns an audio label known as Vel Records and all his albums are released through Vel audio label.

So, it is obvious that many expected the audio album of the magnum opus Baahubali would also be released in the same way. But that is not so. Reports reveal the famous music company Lahari has taken the audio rights of Baahubali. Buzz is, they have paid a huge bomb for grabbing the audio rights.

The amount is not being disclosed but sources close to Keeravani reveal it made more sense business-wise for him to give it away than to retain it. Well, this decision sure goes to show what kind of money was paid for the audio rights. If the album delivers few chartbusters, that would be an icing on the cake.
