If there is one thing which isn’t constant in Tollywood, it is the box-office and satellite right records! These records are temporary most of the time but they give a respite to fans like a yardstick about the film’s success and anticipations before the film’s release. After Baahubali creating many all-time records, now another big film is likely to break one of Baahubali's records in its own style!

This film is none other than Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s Sardaar Gabbar Singh which is all set to be a summer 2016 release. The makers are quoting a staggering amount of Rs 15 crore for the satellite rights. Pawan Kalyan’s mass image and track record, DSP’s music and Gabbar Singh’s success story are the assets of this flick. However, the media channels are trying to negotiate at a maximum of Rs 12 crore. Trade pundits analyze that the satellite rights of Rajamouli’s magnum opus films Baahubali-1 and 2 (combined) were acquired for about Rs 26 crore which means that each part is priced at around Rs 13 crore. So now if SGS’ satellite rights are bought for Rs 15 crore, this would in a way break the record of Baahubali! Well we need to remember that Sardaar Gabbarsingh isn’t a definite sequel but a different story from Gabbarsingh.

Then this would be a great reason for Powerstar fans to celebrate!
