Guess you are aware Universal hero Kamal Haasan's darling daughter Shruti Haasan is multi-talented too!
She is a singer and sang her first song at the age of six in her father's Thevar Magan under the composition of Maestro Ilaiyarajaa. She later went to sing many songs in Hindi & Tamil. She later trained at the Musicians Institute in California.
While she wrote lyrics and collaborated with Dave Kushner for the music production of Hiss (2010), Unnaipol Oruvan (Eenadu in Telugu) was her official debut film as music composer. She later got busy with as a lead heroine but couldn't miss the singer in her. So on the eve of Women's Day, Shruti is releasing her special track titled My Day in the Sun produced in collaboration with composers Ehsaan & Loy. She wrote the lyrics and worked in the composition of this special song that tries to give a voice to all women.
"This is a song which is contemporary and hard-hitting both lyrically and musically" said Shruti. Well both. Shruti fans and music lovers are all ears for this song on Women's Day.
