There was a time when many of us felt that Tollywood cinema is not that great in terms of content and storylines. They follow the routine template of a masala potboiler and when it does take a good subject, it would be borrowed from other industries. However, the situation has changed in the last few years.
Telugu cinema has also improved its standard in terms of substance driven scripts and it is proving to be the reference manual for Bollywood. Now, it looks like even Kollywood which is very strong in storylines has taken Tollywood for inspiration. One film which is gearing up for release seems to be a freemake.
It is called Enakku Innoru Peru Irukku and this has the young music director G V Prakash Kumar as the hero. After watching the trailer, many have found a strong resemblance to the Telugu movie Seema Sastry which had the Sudden Star Allari Naresh. Let us see how the freemake works in Tamil then.
