It is known the news that a few days ago there was a Tollywood shutdown due to the strike between the producers and the digital service providers. However, that didn’t last long and a compromise was reached. Buzz is that the digital service providers have not really given a great discount but the producers have worked a via media solution.
Meanwhile, the same strike also took place in Chennai and the Kollywood folks have decided it is going to be a one-way ticket unless all the issues are resolved. It is heard that from March 19th onwards even the shootings will also stop and the protests are going to be intensified by the Kollywood folks.
For the moment it is only a compromise situation in Tollywood but if the Kollywood folks are staying strong in their protests there is a good chance that the strike will start once again in Hyderabad. In fact, the strike should restart because it is going to bring the much-needed changes and streamline the industry issues.
