Too much of everything tends to wean out the interest levels of anyone and the same applies to cinema as well. The herd mentality of the cinema industry wherein the success of a movie in one particular genre transmits into many movies in that genre has been happening since long. Right now, it is happening with biopics but there is a twist in the tale.

A series of biopics are currently in the anvil and by this time the audience should have got tired of it. Instead, they are showing more interest. This is evident from their reaction to the new biopic ‘Yatra’ and its teaser. This movie is based on the life of the late Y S Rajasekhar Reddy and the project is being helmed by Mahi V Raghav.

Those who have seen the rushes are stating the film is turning out very well and just like how ‘Mahanati’ rocked recently, similarly ‘Yatra’ can do that. A major asset to that is the Malayalam megastar Mammootty who has stepped into the shoes of YSR and is delivering a stellar performance. Get set for this one folks!
