After the super hit movie Pellichoopulu, a goodwill has been established about small, yet content based movies among the audience. Raj Kandukuri who got into instant limelight with Pellichoopulu has produced this movie titled Mental Madhilo. Sree Vishnu and Nivetha Pethuraj as the lead pair, Mental Madhilo is to hit the theaters tomorrow. Read the pre-release premiere review here.

Story Line:

There isn't much to use the words like 'reveal' for this story. It is a story of you, of me. We always get confused in our life and stand in between the options, not ready to choose one. This story is a beautiful portrayal of everyday confusions and how to figure out what is better for ourselves.

Aravind(Sree Vishnu) is a youngster who is basically an introvert. He lacks a little confidence to take even small decisions. His father who is concerned about this decides to marry off Aravind, in a hope that he would change.

On the other hand, Swetcha(Nivetha Pethuraj) is a very confident young woman who takes a strong stand on her decisions. Aravind and Swetcha get to meet in a formal matchmaking event arranged by their parents. They fall for each other and everything seems fine until Aravind flies to Mumbai. Why Aravind goes to Mumbai? What happens next? Did they both get married to each other is the rest of the story.

Roles and Performances:

Sree Vishnu seems to be so effortless in the role of Aravind. His expressions are a huge plus. His portrayal of an introvert and a completely confused person will be remembered for a long time.

Nivetha Pethuraj looks elegant and she has pulled off the role of Swetcha with comfort. Her expressions and her elegance are remarkable.

Shivaji Raja has got a full-length role after a long time. He has justified his role well. All the other actors lived up to expectations.

Analysis:

Times have changed. Movies like Pellichoopulu, Arjun Reddy etc dominating at the theaters is an example to say that content is the king. Mental Madhilo is a normal story, beautifully portrayed just like the above-mentioned movies. It is the story you and I can relate. The director Vivek Athreya has to be appreciated for the portrayal of such a beautiful rom-com in a convincing way. Comedy timing and humor is subtle and very clean. A big round of applause to the producer Raj Kandukuri. He seems to be so passionate to pick the subtle, yet good movies.

Technical Aspects:

The movie Mental Madhilo is one such movie that we stay connecting ourselves throughout the movie rather than looking for technicalities. The camera work is good. The screenplay is convincingly interwoven. Music by Prashant R Vihari complements the narration.

Final Verdict:

In between the options, our weakness takes birth. For this movie, there is only one option: It is a good movie. Subtle, Relative, and Romantic movie.
