Nikhil and Colors Swati starrer Karthikeya directed by debutante Chandoo Mondeti became the most surprising hit of the year. Right from the trailer release, it created a wave of freshness and interesting curiosity among the viewers. The adventurous concept of a mysterious temple was showcased with great mastery by the director. The film was visually appealing and the lead actors pulled off memorable performances.
Music by Sekhar Chandra was sweet sounding and melodious, in this fast paced era of digital music and anglicised lyrics.
