The film seems to have been released from this long and complicated delay very recently. Some recent reports have concrete facts to report about its release. The crew is now completing all things related to post production at a very fast pace. The speed has been increased considerably and work is going on. Once all the formalities related to post production is over, the release date will be announced. For now the producers and crew are targeting 14th August as the release date. The day has been chosen keeping in mind that the next day is Independence Day. Calculations have been made regarding how much a film may profit from a holiday release. After considering all other facts including the budget and speed, this target has now been fixed. It is yet to be seen whether the film sticks to the target or enters again in to the constant loop of never ending delay.
The reason for delay
There are numerous reasons for which the film has been delayed. However, the main was is a financial crunch. The shooting and all other work on the film is known to have been completed a long time back. However, the producer Kalyanram was not able to allot a proper sum of money for the post production work. As a result of this money crunch, the work on the film was stuck for quite some time. There have also been rumors that the delay was caused by a reshoot. The reshoot was apparently the idea of the director who was not happy with the work that was done. However, whatever the reason there has been a huge delay in the final release of this film.
