Irrfan Khan has become a well known face in the industry today. With movies that have released and done well in the box office in Bollywood as well as Hollywood, this actor has seen a lot of success. However, at the very beginning of his career, this actor was also a part of the Tollywood movie industry. In recent times, he has not been seen working in Tollywood much. However, this is about to change greatly. There is some good news about Irrfan’s return to the Tollywood movie industry recently.
The new Tollywood film
The great actor may return to the industry with the next venture by famed director, Chandra Sekhar Yeleti. A trustworthy source from within the industry has informed reporters that the actor has already signed up for this film. The film also has some other veteran actors such as Mohanlal and Gautami in important roles. According to the producer of the film, Sai Korrapati, the director of the film, Chandra Sekhar has already created a very interesting character for Irrfan to play in his film. When contacted for confirmation and more information, the producer had to say that if Irrfan liked the role, he would be signing up for it. This is all the confirmation that fans of the versatile actor will receive as of now.
The time crunch
The makers of this film require at least ten to fifteen days from Irrfan for the shooting and post production. The talented actor is however, extremely busy at the moment. He has been shooting for a Japanese television series. He also has a number of releases in both Bollywood and Hollywood at hand. Hence, it is yet to be seen whether he will be able to make some time from his busy schedule for this particular role. His fans in the South seem to have their fingers crossed over the decision. However, they need to wait with bated breath for the final verdict.
Possibility of signing
One of the hopeful factors is that director Yeleti seems to have had a special talent in roping in known and popular faces from Bollywood for the different roles in his films. Previously he has been known to work with such big stars as Pavan Malhotra, Shakti Kapoor and Mahesh Manjrekar for his different roles. However, whether this will work for such a big star as Irrfan who is at the peak of his career right now is yet to be seen. The last film that Irrfan worked in for the South Indian film industry was around nine years ago in 2006. The film was called Sainikudu. Here he worked along with talented actor from this industry Mahesh Babu. This film had done very well at the box office and since then the audience in South India have wished to see the talented actor in another role in their films. They seem to be very eager about this new possibility. It is very difficult to say what will come out of it at this very moment.
