Kalyan Ram Kathi story at a glance
Rama Krishna (Kalyan Ram Nandamuri) is a football player who aspires to play for national team. He lives in a joint family and very close to his sister Haritha (Saranya Mohan). He protects her all the time. One day she disappears from home. He searches for her finds out that she is married to a factionist from Rayalaseema. The rest of the story is all about how Rama Krishna sacrifices his aim of playing for nation and saves his sister.

The movie was aimed for family especially for ladies, however with too much action elements the film settled for an average talk and grosser at box office. -

- The title of the film became controversy. Director Gunasekhar claimed that he registered the title in filmnagar. Later director Dasari Narayana Rao intervened in the issue and sorted out. Finally Kalyan Ram Katti was titled for this film.
