Avunanna Kaadanna story at a glance

Mangaraju (Pilla Prasad) is the dreaded landlord. He forcibly grabs agriculture lands of farmers in his village. In the process, he grabs the land of Ravi's (Uday Kiran) father. Ravi who grows up in nearby village returns to Lanka to claim his land. He impresses Mangaraju on the occasion of his birthday and asks for his rightful land that was grabbed by him 20 years ago. Mangaraju keeps his word and gives back 5 acres of land. Ravi falls in love with Aravinda (Sada) who happens to be the granddaughter of Mangaraju. Mangaraju who disapproves of this love, separates them. How Ravi and Aravinda reunite to get married forms the rest of the story.
