Gowri story at a glance
Gowri (Sumanth) is a young mechanic who lives in Dhoolpet. He falls in love with media baron Chandra Sekhar (Vizag Prasad) daughter Swetha. As in every story of rich and poor, Chandra Sekhar disapproves their alliance and hires mafia don Sarkar (Atul Kulkarani) to finish Gowri. How the couple withstands every problem and unite forms the rest of the story.

There were good expectations on the film as it followed Sumanth’s super hit movie, Satyam. The movie ended up as an average fare at the box office. -

- Sumanth and Charmee paired up for the first time in this film. They later once again paired up with each other in Chinnodu.
