Bhai is an upcoming film starring Nagarjuna and Richa Gangopadhyay in the lead. The film is produced by Nagarjuna himself from his own banner Annapurna Studios. Music for the album is composed by Devi Sri Prasad and here is an exclusive audio review of it:

Bhai is the title track of the film sung by Suchith Suresan energetically. The track has a strange Arabic flavor and at the same time has a instant likeability factor. The power packed rhythm adds the fun factor to the song and it is good to see Devi Sri Prasad venture into bass guitar usage again.

The next track Nemmadiga is a catchy song with vigor filled rhythm section sung by Venu Srirangam and Swetha Mohan. The track is a typical Devi Sri Prasad composition where the energy doesn’t falter but the melody element is retained. The song gets better in the charanam compared to the pallavi with the DSP mark composing style.

O Pilla Pilla begins with an irresistible de ja vu of Akasam Ammayaithe-Gabbar Singh but goes to the western genre style and sung in an interesting manner by David Simon and Rita. The track is different with respect to the rhythm usage and singing style- but the de ja vu factor is unavoidable.

Aibaboi Nee Choopu is a folksy song intermixed with Rap sung by Geetha Madhuri and Tippu. The folk flavor is retained with the singers and power packed orchestration.

Most Wanted is the final track of the album which sounds too obvious to be an item song. Sung by Mamata Mohandas and Narendra, the song’s trance like style makes it a fun hearing. The song surely will gain the appreciation of the masses.

Verdict:
Bhai is a typical Devi Sri Prasad album with no compromise on the energy levels of every track. However, the repeatable factor of certain tracks would have been easily avoided, which might impact the flavor of the album.
