If you are a movie buff and keen observer of Telugu cinema, it is always the family entertainer that rule the roost. They are the highest grossers in the recent times too. But Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, Attarintiki Daredi and Govindudu Andarivadele are few family entertainers that really did wonders at the box-office.

Keeping aside Attarintiki Daredi (the all-time highest grosser so far), it was Yevadu and SVSC in the second and third positions respectively in the Top 5 in terms of 1st week worldwide collections! Nevertheless to day there was always a tough competition between the films of Ram Charan and Mahesh Babu. And unarguably, Ram Charan kept winning over Mahesh this year – be it 1/Nenokkadine-Yevadu or Aagadu-GAV. Adding strength to this fact, trade pundits say Ram Charan’s GAV might surpass SVSC in the 1st week worldwide collections.

Earlier, SVSC holds the 2nd highest figure (Rs 33.5 crores) after Attarintiki Daredi (Rs. 47.5 crores) and now GAV has clambered up in the chart with about Rs. 34.8 crores* 1st week worldwide share! Be it Mahesh or Ram Charan, it’s a great pride for us that films that offer clean and healthy entertainment depicting our authentic Telugu nativity and family emotions always win our hearts and the box-office too!
