When you know very well that the tough taskmaster S S Rajamouli is behind Bahubali and the grandeur director Gunasekhar is behind Rudramadevi you would find it unusual to see the name of Krish being attached to it. But there seems to be a good reason and observation behind this.
The towering hunk Daggubati Rana is in both movies. In Bahubali he is essaying the role of Ballaladeva and he got a superb response to the still which was released on the eve of his birthday yesterday. In Rudramadevi also he would be seen as Chalukya Veerabhadra and even the motion poster also got a very good response.
That way, Rana is the luckiest actor among the current brigade of actors as he got two historical roles. Here comes the link between Krish and the whole thing. Some are saying due credit goes to Krish for introducing Rana in a very different facet through his movie Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum. Special teasers were also created at that time showing Rana as Abhimanyu and Krish proved that Rana has that potential and also the interest. It is only once in a lifetime such projects happen so Rana becoming a part of both is impressive. But the foundation for Rana to get into these two has been laid by Krish through KVJ. The fortune of doing a period role among the young heroes was held by Ram Charan for Magadheera and now it is Rana.
