If there is one reason why many among us were driven to respect the Telugu cinema, it is due to the contribution and performances of one man. He is the great N T Rama Rao and for many decades, he ruled the roost and gave a perfect personification of many mythological characters.
Among his vast database, one evergreen masterpiece classic which can never be forgotten is Dana Veera Soora Karna. NTR gave an immortal performance as Duryodhana. Now, another DVS Karna is in the making and comparisons have risen between the new one and the masterpiece.
Incidentally, Nandamuri Tarakaramao Rao, the great grandson of NTR is essaying the role of Duryodhana and the entire movie is being made with child artists. In a way, a comparison between both is too much to ask but the Nandamuri bloodline is part of it hence so much curiosity and attention.
