Cinema is a creative product and what you see visually is one thing but what you hear builds that emotional connect for you. It is here that the dialogue department plays a key role and hence the directors go for the best in the business. Usually, this department is dominated completely by the men.
However, one lady dialogue writer is now breaking those barriers and making her presence felt. This is happening in Bollywood and the woman in focus happens to be Juhi Chaturvedi. She made her debut with the movie Vicky Donor as a story, screenplay and dialogue writer. This film revolved around a sperm donor.
She then became the dialogue writer for the film Madras Cafe which became quite controversial in Tamil Nadu due to the LTTE aspect. Now, Juhi has penned the story, screenplay and dialogue for the new movie Piku wherein she has focused on a plot that involves constipation and bowel movement. All in all, Juhi is making her mark using offbeat subjects.
