The culture of remakes has been existent in the film circuit since long and in Tollywood, films have been remade from Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam as well. Now, the talk among the filmnagar circles is about the remake of the latest Bollywood release Piku which is running to full houses across the globe.
The story revolves around an old man suffering from heavy constipation and his relationship with his daughter who is an independent and self-confident woman. The cine circles are saying there is enough material in this movie to be remade and some agents are already in Mumbai to grab the rights.
Piku is directed by Shoojit Sorcar and it has the living legend Amitabh Bachchan along with the burgundy eyed beauty Deepika Padukone. It would be interesting to see who will be chosen to reprise these roles if the remake really goes through. For now, let us wait to hear the official confirmation.
