This stylish actor has made his own mark with unique choice of subjects and now he is all set to entertain the audiences with Pandaga Chesko directed by Balupu fame Gopichand Malineni. This film is ready to release this Friday and here is an iQlik exclusive chitchat with the actor:

Hello Ram.. How are you doing?
Hi..

Please tell us about your upcoming release Pandaga Chesko..
The film has every entertainment element you can think of. It is a colorful film with lot of comedy and fun moments.

How was it working with High voltage composer Thaman once again?
This is my third film with Thaman. He gave fantastic tunes which have good pace and high energy levels. I'm more than glad to work with such effervescent composer.

Your working experience with the two leading ladies namely Rakul Preet and Sonal Chauhan?
Rakul is a true professional when it comes to acting and presentation. It was a great pleasure to work with her. Coming to Sonal, she is quite confident on what she is doing and can set everybody else in the background with her charm.

This is your first film with director Gopichand Malineni. How was it working with him?
Gopichand is a director with great capabilities. He handled a complex script with great ease and gave equal importance to every artist’s character. He knows the pulse of the masses quite well and churned out the recipe for a masala entertainer perfectly.

What made you chose this entertainment oriented script like Pandaga Chesko? Did you get to change in the way scripts are chosen now?
I did change a little in the way I am choosing my films. More than the combination, it is the content which matters. I wanted to work with Gopichand right from Bodyguard days and finally it materialized now. The main reason I chose Pandaga Chesko is because of the strength in the story.

Brahmanandam did a breathtaking stunt resembling Kick movie scene in this film. Your comment?
He is the heart and soul of the film. Brahmanandam will remain as an undisputed highlight for Pandaga Chesko. I can't reveal more now. You need to watch it on the screens tomorrow.

You seem to have tough competition this Friday from different films. How are you taking it?
We are confident about our film. It is a wholesome entertainer and will sure make audience relish it and enjoy this weekend. More than the competition, it is the confidence in our film which made us release this Friday. Release date of a film is quite crucial in many aspects and should be decided based on the convenience of distributors and producer as well.

You have had a series of flops before in your career.  How do you digest such setbacks?
That’s part of the game. I always strive hard to overcome the setbacks and give better output for each of my new film.

You delivered a controversial line in the trailer of Pandaga Chesko. Your comment?
That line was delivered purely based on the film’s story and context. I didn’t become an actor to get into controversies and never had an intention to hurt anyone either.

You did a multi starrer film Masala with Venkatesh. Will you opt for a multi starrer in near future?
As of now I am not sure whether I would do a multi starrer. Multi-starrers definitely work in Bollywood but for Tollywood’s scenario, a really good story is needed to do such a film.

Upcoming films?
There are seven scripts which are almost ready now. The script of Harikatha is getting ready gradually.

Okay.. Thank you and wish you the best for Pandaga Chesko!
Thanks a lot!
