You know what is the in-thing now? No its not Swachch Bharat and those selfies anymore. Village Adoption has outshined it and Mahesh's Srimanthudu is bagging all the credit. After Mahesh, KCR, Shruti Haasan, yet another film celebrity has come forward to adopt a village.
He is none other than popular actor, director, producer Prakash Raj. This National award winning artist is not only good at acting but best at contributing back to the society. He met Telangana State IT Minister KTR at secretariat and put forth a proposal for adopting Kondareddipalle village in Mahbubnagar District in Telangana. The proposal carried a detailed picture on the developments he envisioned in the Kondareddipalle. Delighted minister KTR immediately introduced him to the concerned District Collector Smt Sridevi and local MLA Sri Anjaiah and facilitated the process. Today, Prakash Raj has even visited the village and interacted with the villagers.
Prakash Raj recently started a foundation on his name with a tagline 'Giving Back To Life' and in no time he put his thoughts into action. He is one film celeb who has adopted a village without being associated with Srimanthudu. Way to go Prakash...best wishes!
