The artistic filmmaker Gunasekhar has had an interesting career since 90s decade. His films speak of class, memorable characterizations, huge sets and of course great songs. But he has seen a downfall with series of flops such as Sainikudu and Varudu which bombed at the Box Office. This didn’t perturb the determined filmmaker as he took a bigger challenge to prove his worth.
Gunasekhar made Rudramadevi which is touted to be one of the biggest releases this year after Baahubali. The film has good star cast and strong music department with Ilaiyaraaja. Nevertheless, the film has been delayed so many times that Gunasekhar was repeatedly breaking the promise! Finally, he announced that the movie will hit the screens on 9th October.
But there is another last minute debacle again for this project. This time the problem occurred for Tamil version of the film. Though it was initially planned to release Telugu, Tamil and Hindi versions on the same day, the Tamil distributors backed off in the last minute changing the date to 16th October.
However, the Telugu and Hindi versions will be releasing without any trouble!
