Namitha is the one of those actresses who got a shocking makeover from a slender woman to a bubbly lady. In one way it gave a shock to her fans initially but later on she went on to claim the star status in neighbouring film industry Kollywood.

In her recent interview for a reputed magazine, she thanked the people of South and mainly Tamil audience for showing her the affection and treating her like their own. And she also disclosed her desire to enter into the Politics and to serve the people and always had a thought about giving back to the society through such powerful medium. On this note she confirmed her entry into politics in near future for sure but not now and already she has been getting many invitations from various parties.
