After a brilliant positive response for his last film Kanche, Varun Tej has planned his career perfectly by associating with Puri Jagannadh for his next film Loafer. Puri is best known for his hatke characterizations, stunning dialogues and perfect receipe for a masala entertainer. The film’s trailer released the other day amidst high expectations.

Varun Tej was seen in mellowed down roles in his first two film appearances - Mukunda and Kanche. But Puri chose to unleash the mass appeal in the hero with this flick and it is quite evident in the trailer! Clad in a unique rugged attire and a trendy cap, Varun Tej looked like a perfect fit for this mass role. Another biggest highlight of the trailer was the appearance of veteran actress Revathi as the mother of Varun Tej. This is the first time Revathi is working with Puri Jagannadh and she steals the show. Ali and Brahmanandam who are regular for Puri’s films make a swift appearance.

All in all, Loafer looks like a promising entertainer high on family sentiment as well. But critics say the film reminded of Ek Niranjan which had a similar plot line. Well from Ek Niranjan to Loafer, Puri has come a long way as a writer and director as well. So, let’s hope and wish Puri & Varun score a hit.
