Mahesh Babu's recent hit Srimanthudu is made on the lines of village adoption and it also gives us a message of giving back to the society. Now the team of Srimanthudu is in the same lines of what they said on silver screen.
Coming to the news, Srimanthudu became the second highest grosser in Tollywood (next to Baahubali) and it almost collected Rs 85 Cr (share) and Rs 145 Cr (gross) in its total run. As the producers are very happy and now they are contributing these profits into NGOs and Hospitals.
As part of their charities, Team of Srimanthudu donated Rs 10 lakhs to Basavatarakam Cancer Institute and Rs 5 lakhs to Heal A Child foundation. And as we all know, Mahesh adopted two villages in two Telugu states in order to provide the necessities to the villagers.
On the whole, Srimanthudu not only brought millions of rupees to producers but also resulted as a good social impact on the society.
