Sukumar Writings presents Kumari 21F opened to full houses from Friday onwards – thanks to alluring content and promotion. But in spite of the ‘A certificate talk’, the film has recorded a solid start at the box office.
Kumari 21F has opened top packed houses with youth and according to trade pundits, the movie is estimated to have collected Rs 2.60 (gross) and Rs 1.65 Cr (share) across the Telugu states. And it also registered a record breaking opening (for a small budget film) worldwide collecting Rs 3.40 Cr. Coming towards second day, positive reviews & mouth publicity helped to record a steady Day 2 with Rs 2.54 (Gross) & Rs 1.55 Cr (Share) collections.
On a whole Kumari 21F minted around Rs 6 Cr in two days and as per trade experts’ prediction, chances are bright for Kumari to experience a steady Sunday with an increase in the percentile of family audience as well. Looks like Sukumar’s pen has bagged yet a hat-trick hit Raj Tarun.
