In case some of you are not aware, whenever a movie is being made, the directors keep the demand of the distributors in mind because it is the latter who buy those movies. So, there was a time when the distributors used to ask how many songs are shot in foreign locations.
Whenever a movie had songs shot in foreign locations, the distributors used to give 50 lakhs more and buy the film. However, cut to the present, the situation is no longer the same. Now, the distributors are watching only content and they are no longer demanding for that foreign song shoot.
So, only the hero and director should go abroad out of their fancy but it is not appealing the distributors anymore. In the last few years, the dynamics of cinema business has changed and still, the distributors call the shots in many instances. Even they are becoming quite calculative in their deals.
