Speedunnodu is a commercial entertainer starring Bellamkonda Sreenivas and Sonarika Badoria in lead roles. Milky beauty Tamannah did a special item song for this film and the music is composed by DJ Vasanthh. Here is an iQlik exclusive audio review of the album:

The racy album begins with Ye Tsunami Aina sung perfectly by Revanth and optimistic lyrics by Sri Mani set the song’s mood perfectly.  The song is a typical commercial introduction number with modern as well as folk blends. The interludes are racy and suit the song’s vigor.

Gurranni Cheruvu Daaka is a groovy number penned effectively by Ananth Sriram. Anudeep’s fresh vocals and Dhamini does a commendable job as well with her sweet vocals. The song has good touches of harmonica, gripping rhythm and fun moments as well.

The album gets a Desi cowboy touch with Yellow Yellow Dirty Fellow sung by Rahul Sipligunj. Chandrabose’s funny lyrics speak of various colors and storytelling mode of presentation is quite hilarious. The rhythm section is like 70s cowboy numbers and feisty trumpets do the job well.

It is time for a groovy number Ammayini Abbayi Choodagane with experimental lyrics speaking of science behind relationship attractions. This must be a first of its kind experiment from Chandrabose to use scientific terms like Oxytocin in a commercial song! Revanth does the rightful for this fun filled number.

The inevitable item song touch arrives with Hollywood Hero Lekka sung by the folk masters Simha and  Geetha Madhuri.  Karunakar Adigarala tries out Telangana folk in lyrics and succeeds with flying colors. Overall, the song suffices the item song requirement quite confidently.

Rekkalatho Chukkalakegira is a breezy duet sung by Revanth and Ramya Behara.  Srimani’s poetic lyrics speak of interesting visualization and novelty.  In short, this song balances the otherwise speedy album with ease.

The massy flavor is back with Aatakundhoy sung by Shravana Bhargavi and Revanth. The song has a remarkable peppiness which reminds us of 90s Tollywood masala numbers. Lyrics by Chandrabose are adequate but the tune has strange resemblance to Naadh Naadh Badrinath from Allu Arjun’s Badrinath.

Kasai Katthi Padhunu marks the finale penned by the legendary lyricist Sirivennela Sitarama Sastry. This song carries the perfect revenge feeling and the emotions a person goes through it perfectly. Revanth does a brilliant job singing this emotionally compelling number.

Verdict:
Speedunnodu is a fair album for Bellamkonda Srinivas. Newcomer Vasanthh does a neat job but needs to get a grip on commercial potboilers more.
