One of the most sought after and highly followed novelist among the young generation of India is Chetan Bhagat. True to that, he also comes up with novels that are quite contemporary and carry a lot of nativity. Given that, two of his books also got made as films and became huge successes.
We are talking about the Bollywood movie 3 Idiots and 2 States which came out of Chetan’s book. Now there is news that Tollywood is planning to do two films of Chetan. They are ‘Revolution 2020’ and ‘Half Girlfriend’. But there is a small twist in the tale.
It is heard that the Tollywood folks want to make freemakes out of these two movies. Apparently, they don’t have the money or the energy to convince Chetan and then buy remake rights from him. However, it is also heard that they will change the script so that they don’t land in soup.
