This may sound a bit ironical but then Hyderabad is the hotbed for Tollywood industry and is also the haven for many historical and tourist sightseeing lovers. However, most of the filmmakers prefer to choose some exotic locations in different parts of the globe and shell out huge money.
However, one Bollywood movie has chosen a different path. They have opted for Hyderabad and making a prestigious bilingual in Telugu and Hindi. We are talking about the movie Ghaji which is based on the drowned Pakistani submarine PNS Ghaji during the 1970-71 Indo-Pak war.
Reports say a beautiful set of a submarine has been erected near the famous Tank Bund in Hyderabad. While precautions are being taken not to attract public attention, buzz is that the actors are mighty impressed with the location. Let us hope this encourages more filmmakers to choose locations in Hyderabad for their movies.
