Prominent film personality Thammareddi Bharadwaj has recently expressed his anguish over lack of care for statues of many film legends in various locations of Film Nagar. He found the statues stuck in dust and cared by any none.

Thammareddi was quite saddened seeing the pathetic situation of these statues and approached various film organizations to initiate a cleaning campaign. But when none of them responded positively, he himself is planning to take care of the cleaning drive.

However, this decision has triggered a new debate over the availability of water in this summer season. When drinking water supply is a matter of serious concern in the capital city, using such a resource for cleaning statues is raising many doubts. With summer season already approaching in a jiffy, we will have to see how Thammareddi will solve this issue.
