There was a time when Bollywood was considered the role model for everything among the south cinema circuit. But in the last few years, the pattern has changed and Bollywood is looking downwards to import stories, artists, technicians. This has proved very beneficial for them.

One among them is the talented filmmaker Karan Johar and his inclination towards south movies has been on the rise. Karan is currently producing a movie named as Ok Janu and this is the remake of the Telugu hit Ok Bangaram helmed by the maverick Mani Ratnam.

The latest update is that Karan has also bagged the remake rights of the recent release Oopiri and he wants to make it big in Bollywood. You are already aware that Karan Johar was the person who released the magnum opus Baahubali in Hindi and took the film to north Indian audience strongly.
