The charming prince Mahesh Babu always had the credit of being appreciative of younger talents in filmmaking. There was an instance when Mahesh himself said that he loved Vijay starrer Kaththi a lot during an interview hosted by Samantha. Now, the actor has appreciated Vijay’s upcoming film Theri (Policeodu in Telugu) which is directed by Raja Rani fame Atlee.
Sources say that Mahesh was so impressed with the trailer that he called Atlee and appreciated the work. He also asked the director whether there are any good storylines which he can associate to work for. Naturally, Atlee was on cloud 9 to receive a call from Mahesh and immediately landed to Hyderabad to discuss story prospects with the star.
However, there is no official announcement about this project yet but Atlee admitted that he wanted to do a Telugu film after scoring a massive hit in Tamil. Looks like some clarity from Mahesh himself will come after the release of Vijay’s Theri this week!
