You might be quite familiar how strangely our Telugu films are titled when they are dubbed in other languages (Chatrapathi as Hukumat ki Jung, Julayi as Dangerous Khiladi etc). Of course, this sometimes depends on the vernacular market of the hero, creativity of the local producers and so on.
Well Stylish Star Allu Arjun adorns as a huge following in Kerala where he is fondly called “Mallu Arjun” as well. Bunny has a decent market in Malayalam and all his Telugu films have simultaneous release in Malayalam as well. This time his upcoming Sarrainodu movie is also releasing in Kerala on April 22 and is titled ‘Yodha – The Warrior’ [Wondering about its connection with the film!]. Well it was sold out for a whopping Rs 8 Cr which speaks of Bunny’s demand in Mollywood.
Earlier there were speculations that some producers were ready to produce a straight Malayalam film with Allu Arjun and if this Sarrainodu aka Yodha- The Warrior also strikes gold, we might soon see Bunny’s Malayalam debut also. Well coming to the titles, our Telugu film titles alone sometimes don’t have a connection with the story, why worry about Malayalam titles… Endha Cheta?
