You could be one of the biggest stars in the regional circuit but your real mettle will be proven when you can stand on a national platform and score success. Not many stars from the south or other regions have clicked in Bollywood. But that has never stopped the actors from attempting a breakthrough.
This time, it could well be the turn of Nandamuri Natasimham Balakrishna. It is known that Balayya’s 100th film is Gautamiputra Satakarni based on the Satavahana ruler from 78 AD. He ruled the states of Maharashtra, Karnataka and some portion of Gujarat also during his regime.
So, this is going to be a national story like Bajirao Mastani if shown in the right manner. It is clear that history didn’t care about this king but it is heard that director Krish is keen to bring this to national attention. As such, there is no official confirmation about this from Krish but sources say he is attempting in that direction also.
