Family hero Srikanth’s legal tensions aren’t cleared yet. The High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad for the States of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh issued a stay against the release of his forthcoming film Mental Police.

Earlier he along with his Mental Police’s producers received show cause notices from the Telangana Police Officers Association demanding a change in the film’s title that is allegedly demeaning the public image of Police. The Association later moved the issue to the High Court which now ordered a stay on its theatrical release. This stay is effective until the producers change the title of the movie.

Even Tamil superstar Vijay’s Policeodu movie (Theri in Tamil dubbed as Policeodu in Telugu) also faced similar objection from the association and the producers later changed the title to Police. Let’s see how Srikanth & his producers will solve this issue!
