Chiranjeevi-Vijayashanti is unarguably one of the ‘All-time Hit pairs of Telugu cinema’. They later parted ways post Gang Leader movie (1991) success. However, Vijayasanthi recently spoke good things about Chiru and their friendship and industry onlookers thought something is cooking.
Now speculations are rife that Vijayashanti may share screen space with Chiranjeevi in his most awaited comeback 150th film (Kathilantodu, the remake of Tamil superhit Vijay starrer Katthi). Definitely not a heroine but Vijayashanti is being considered for a key role in the film, say sources. Well, an official confirmation is still awaited on this.
Even Vijayashanti is missing from active politics and given her rapport with Chiru, she is likely to consider the offer. Moreover, their combination can certainly add to the hype over the film.
Meanwhile the second schedule date is fast approaching and the hunt for heroine is still on. Let’s wait and see if the hit pair will ever scorch the silver screen once again.
