From the time Indian cinema has been incepted, the focus has been largely on hero centric movies because they command the public following and bring revenues at the box office. As for the heroines, they were meant for adding the glamour quotient and sprucing up romance.
But in the last decade and half, things have changed and heroine oriented movies have begun picking up. This has been high in Bollywood and starlets such as Kangana Ranaut, Vidya Balan started creating that difference. Now, another name is joining that list.
It is that of the big girl with bold curves Sonakshi Sinha. She is arriving with the movie Akira and the poster was unveiled latest. Those who saw the poster say Sonakshi fits the bill of a fighter heroine and if she has pulled off some convincing fight sequences she is sure to strike gold. The film is helmed by the genius director A R Murugadoss.
