Despite the brickbats and the lashing it received, the film Janatha Garage is turning out to be a winner at the box office. This has given rise to a new topic. Speculation has begun making rounds that critics were given money and negative reviews were made to be written.
Well, this is nothing but sheer comedy. If only reviews impacted the movie business then producers would take care of the film critics first. They will spend just like they do on media and publicity and a separate budget would have been allocated.
On the other hand, reviewers never go behind money and write what they like. They work out of passion and not for money. Even if they take money people will understand in a short span and the critic will be forgotten. So, money never works for reviewers and even if they do get greedy, they won’t survive.
