Remember the hilarious role 'Chary' played by Young Tiger Jr.NTR in V.V.Vinayak’s Adhurs? The actor evoked much laughter with his portrayal as a staunch Brahmin along with Brahmanandam. Few actors like Kamal Hassan (Michael Madana Kamaraju), Chiranjeevi (Mugguru Monagallu), Mohan Babu (Adhirindi Alludu) have proved to be great entertainers in ‘Brahmin’ roles and as per the latest grapevine here is a young Telugu hero who wants to try this out.

Going into the details, Allu Arjun might be doing a ‘brahmin’ role in his upcoming film DJ aka Duvvadam Jagannadham directed by Harish Shankar and produced by Dil Raju. However an official clarification is awaited on this.

Harish’s wirting is known for its punch, sarcasm and wittiness & Bunny is known for his brilliant comic timing and dialogue delivery. Harish Shankar apparently worked as a ghost writer for Adhurs and he penned all the sequences between Jr NTR and Brahmanandam in the film. And it would be interesting to see Bunny try some intelligent comedy and entertainment in a Brahmin role.

However, this is a double edged sword for both Bunny and Harish as there were instances where Brahmin communities filed cases on actors and makers citing objections over the portrayal of ‘Brahmins’ in films.
