You tend to see the film industry from a distance and hence you can only perceive it as a world of glitz, glamour and entertainment. But beyond that lies another dark world that is filled with deceit, stealing credit and manipulating others’ talents to the fullest.
Tollywood seems to be no exception to it and currently one burning issue is being discussed. This is about many writers becoming directors and the main reason for that. The common complaint is, they are not being given the due recognition and the credit is being taken by the directors.
One top writer also confirmed it. He is none other than Vakkantham Vamsi. He has reportedly mentioned how directors and producers say they forgot to mention his name during various events. He also added that few directors tell the hero that it was their story and not the writer’s. In order to silence his critics, Vamsi has decided to wield the megaphone. We have to see how the reactions to his statements will be.
