After the film’s super success and Box Office returns, the film is now a room for a fresh controversy. A new petition has been filed on the makers of Kabali alleging that the film attained entertainment tax waive. In order to encourage Tamil films, the Government of TN has been giving waive on titles which are free from vulgarity or violence.
The petition said that just because Rajnikanth is there in the film, Kabali could get entertainment tax waive. It also demanded that the makers should refund the entertainment tax amount as soon as possible. This must be a bit of shock to Rajni fans because their star’s reputation has been on the news for wrong reasons.
