Remake of Malayalam Premam movie into Telugu can be regarded as the boldest move in recent times. Though it needs to be perceived as a films, it is even beyond a film and much more special for the fans.
Naga Chaitanya dared to remak?e the film in spite of the negativity - cheers! But the unanimous question is that 'can they recreate Premam magic?'. Ever since the first look and Evare song? released, negativity has overshadowed the positive buzz over the film. Well here is a reliable inside talk over the final output of the film.
As we know, the first (out of the three) love track (one with Anupama Parameshwaran) is quite engaging but the momentum drops with the second love track (Shruti Hassan's episode) and the second half is unfortunately "sluggish". The film is touted to be low on entertainment quotient and the saddest part is that the much expected overall feel is missing. Despite a good run time (2hr 16mins), the film appears to be slacking off, say inside sources.
On the other hand, the film is believed to have strong content, emotion, contemporary narration, soulful music, promising performances and above all, the 'Premam' brand that can pull crowds to the theaters. Well, we need to be proud of a brave attempt like this especially by a hero from a star family. Good luck guys!????
