The biggest challenge you would face as a small budget filmmaker is a strong producer and the right distributor network with a stamina to give a respectable release in theatres. There are many deserving films in Tollywood which failed to click due to this reason.
But now, one big banner has begun showing interest in small budget movies which is giving a new lease of life to them. We are talking about the PVP banner owned by Param Potluri. After coming up with some heavy budget flicks, PVP is now keen to come up with small budget films.
They have already arrived with Kshanam which was a huge success and now it is heard that they are going to do one more movie with director PV Giri. Prior to that, PVP would be doing a horror movie with Omkar of Raju Gari Gadhi fame. This is going to be a welcoming change.
